TopFX lists MetaTrader 5 for iOS and Android only, on the live server TopFX-Live, with no desktop MT5 build named on the broker's platform pages. All 3 account types - Growth, Zero and Pro - are offered on MT5, but the demo block names only cTrader and MT4.

Minimum EUR/USD spreads are 1.2 pips on Growth, 0.5 on Pro and 0.0 on Zero, which charges a forex commission.

- MT5 appears in the TopFX platform line-up for iOS and Android only; no Windows or macOS MT5 build is named, and the live server is TopFX-Live.
- The demo is described as access to cTrader and MT4 with full platform functionality - MT5 is not named in that demo block, so practice is documented for 2 of the 3 terminals.
- All 3 account types run on MT5: Growth from 1.2 pips on EUR/USD with no forex commission, Pro from 0.5 pips with no commission, and Zero from 0.0 pips with a commission rate that is not published on the current site (the site JSON carries commission 0; an archived page dated 19.05.2025 for the older RAW account listed 2.75 USD per side per lot).
- Instrument access on MetaTrader is narrower than on cTrader: Forex, Metals (5 symbols), Indices and Energies (3) sit on MT4 and cTrader, while Shares 500+, ETFs 18, crypto CFDs and the 8 Synthetic Indices are cTrader-only.
- Order sizing is the same on every terminal: 1 lot = 100,000 units, minimum trade 0.01 lots with a 0.01 step, maximum 100 standard lots per position, and account currencies limited to USD and EUR.
- Close-out rules disagree inside the broker's own documents: account pages state Margin Call 50% and Stop Out 20%, while ToB 11.24 says closing may begin at a margin level of 60% or below, with automatic close-out at 35% or below on MT4 and MT5 against 30% on cTrader.
- Leverage is set per symbol rather than per platform: 1:2000 on EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, USDCAD, EURGBP and EURJPY, 1:1000 on 13 further pairs such as AUDUSD and GBPJPY, 1:500 on CHF pairs and exotics, 1:200 Flat on XAUUSD and 1:10 on XAGUSD; ToB 11.23 lets the company set maximum leverage at 1:100 for new positions every Friday between 21:00 and 24:00 server time.
- Malaysian clients are onboarded under TopFX Markets Limited (BVI, company no. 2116078, FSC licence SIBA/L/23/1161): from a Malaysian IP topfx.com returns a 302 to top-my.com/bvi/en, and the retail site runs in 3 languages - English, Arabic and Spanish - with no Malay version.

Does TopFX support MetaTrader 5?
Yes, MT5 is listed for all three account types on the server TopFX-Live, for iOS and Android. There is no proprietary in-house terminal, and the platform line-up is cTrader, MT4 and MT5.
Can I open an MT5 demo account?
The demo block states access to cTrader and MT4 with full platform functionality and does not name MT5, so the demo path for MT5 is not documented; MT4 demo uses TopFXGlobal-Demo Server. Ask the broker before assuming an MT5 demo exists.
What can I trade on MT4 and MT5?
